Abstract

Objective. The objective of this research was to determine the influence of organizational learning and innovation on the performance of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises in the service sector of the Department of El Paraíso. Method. A quantitative study was conducted, with an explanatory scope and a non-experimental, cross-sectional, correlational-causal design. Data collection was carried out through surveys administered to a sample of 188 MSMEs in the service sector in different municipalities of the Department of El Paraíso.  Results. The findings indicate a significant correlation between organizational learning and innovation in MSMEs, as well as a positive relationship between organizational learning and business performance. A significant association was also found between innovation and performance. The results show that organizational learning positively influences innovation and performance, while innovation also favorably impacts business performance. Conclusions. The adoption of organizational learning practices by entrepreneurs contributes to strengthening their companies' innovation capacity and improving their performance.
